Sylvania Southview QB Alex Pidcock is coming to BG as a preferred walk-on. Read it on JJ Huddle, with comments from his dad. Says he may play QB, FB, or LB for the Falcons. Welcome Alex!

With his QB experience and strength, he would make an excellent ILB.

I hope Brandon's 30 points per game stays in some shape or form.

If Brandon's defense stays that's probably not enough points most games.

I believe Coach Clawson has a track record coaching some pretty potent offenses.

Having Brian Westbrook always helps

I don't. He scored those by posting 70 on crap teams and then using QB draws all the time.

30 points per game...period. Put whatever spin on it that you want to.

That's a really dumb statement...really, really dumb...historically dumb...right up there with Richard Nixon saying 'I am not a crook"...

Yeah - it's remarkably easy to beat Cowboy's nonsensical musings into a pulp. You can do better, 51.

You forgot the crappy wide receiver screens that got us maybe 2 yards and were just as likely to be losses

2008 -- 27.7 ppg
2007 -- 30.1 ppg
2006 -- 19.5 ppg
2005 -- 31.5 ppg
Doesn't seem to me that Brandon's teams consistently put up the Brandon 30 points per game either. In fact, take Temple out of the equation and those numbers become 27.7, 28.7, 20, 30.2
Brandon's teams had great offenses in '03 & '04. They were pretty damn good in '05 & '07. The '06 team was as inept as you'll ever see, the '08 team was good somedays bad others. I don't think we'll miss the mythical guranteed 30 points per game from the Brandon regime nearly as much as Mr. Cowboyjoe seems to think we will. In fact if we actually start tackling people and playing special teams maybe we won't NEED that 30 points per game...

Glad could start a thread that lead to another Brandon-bashing discussion.

Brandon's mama wears combat boots.
