It was great to see him tonight. I just can't stop thinking about how totally friggin' weird it would be to see a Bowling Green team running a West Coast scheme. I'm all for it, but it will take some getting used to.

Is the interview posted anywhere? Since OUR FSO was showing other stuff, I didn't get to see it.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

So is it safe to say this guy can present himself in interviews in a far more polished and articulate way than say, the guy that we fired after waiting too long?

FF, Don't think the "interview" was more than Clawson sitting down between Reghi and the "color commentator"...and responding to a few questions while the game was in progress...He DID comment about our facilities, especially the SEBO...mentioned a "West Coast Offense" which ulitmately will feature more FB's and TE's than we've been used to seeing, but seemingly not for just yet...as our talent was recruited for a different offensive system until this year's kids. Those were the main points that I heard.

Did he mention anything about spring ball starting up? I'm assuming they'll start practice after spring break

Nope...CO61 about said it all. He did say that it will take 2 years to get everything changed to what he wants.

I hope he doesn't change us from a high scoring team to a team that scores like Tennessee did this year. That's my concern. Maybe a different offense (the use of tight ends and full backs) will speed up the game and keep our defense off the field and maybe we can be in some low scoring games that we will win.

Coach needs to get some BGSU gear. The black and grey sweater he had on last night didn't do much for TV.

I'm sure the cornerstone of his plan for the Falcons is to score fewer points. Dynamite insight there.

Well, that was the dumbest comment ever. I know it was your first date with him last night with Coach B, but when is the wedding? Oh, and please, do kiss and tell, we all like juicy gossip.

Damn Nathan...let it go. What is the point of continued jabs at Brandon? He is in Virginia now...or did you miss the memo?

He said he was changing the system from what we were doing to what he wants to do offensively. Well, we were scoring 30 points a game for the last 6 years. That must mean he is planning to score less. I don't care, just win baby. I'll take 10-6 victories by running the wish-bone. You guys seem to think I don't want to win. You're nuts.
