Ohio announces its non-conference schedule thru 2015

Ohio has at least two non-conference home games each season through 2015 and I like how they did it. In each season except from 2013 (where they have three home games and one away game), they play an away BCS opponent (one money game), another away FBS opponent, a home FBS opponents but they did arrange the schedule to also include one game againts an FCS team each year. I'm not big on an FCS team every year, but all in all, not a bad future schedule IMO. Here's the link if anyone is interested:

An impressive dedication to continued mediocrity.

The Big East is a BCS conference in name only

I really like what they did with Marshall. That will help build a nice rivalry. I think we should do something similar with a team. Western Kentucky?

Our players' knees are too valuable for that.

You schedule I-AA schools only if you're a I-AA school.

The non-BCS squads should all come together and just refuse to schedule BCS teams. The WAC schedules the MAC, the Sunbelt and Conference Texas schedule against each other. If the BCS schools want to keep all of the bowl money, then they can play one another.

But this will never happen as everyone needs some big budget payday...

I like the idea of a college football cartel.

OH SNAP!

That's what I said when our player got hit in the knees...it also is a good rip on the dirtiness of the WKU players.

Sounds great in theory and I'm all for it....sked games vs the other non BCS for OOC. We're all pretty much in the same situation anyway.

True... but by forming a Cartel... we can demand top dollar to be slaughtered by BCS schools.

Why not got for broke and set up a Division I FBS playoff and crown a true non-BSC National Champion. Show it can be done in FBS and blow that arguement out of the water for teh BSC schools.

Don't know if this was in response to somebody suggesting us scheduling Western Kentucky, but WKU is not 1-AA anymore, they moved into the Sun Belt.

The Mountain West pitched an 8 team playoff to the BCS today. Odds of it being approved: -1000%

My comment was directed towards the awesome schedule OU has put together once again for Frank and the boys.
