Save Hockey

We need to save the sport that put BGSU on the map, Hockey. Its the only
sport that BG won a Division I national championship in. We have at least
34 players who have played or are still playing in the NHL. We have several
Olympic gold medallists. The threat to eliminate hockey is real we need everyones support. The hockey alumni and fans support falcon sports.

I couldn't agree more. This would be bad for the entire Falcon athletic family.

Fixed it for you. Here's a link. Also a great story- number 263 in the picture is, I believe, my old Rocket teammate, Rich Lachowski, and if that's correct he was way further back by the end of this race.

And, oh yeah, they got rid of that sport, too.

H2O...I met a new client last week. Really great guy...he ran track at Wooster college and had the honor of getting smoked by Edwin Moses when Moses was at Morehouse. He said Edwin complimented him on being able to hang with him for 40 or so meters. He was used to having everyone in the rearview by then...

My story is a heat I ran against Marshall Dill. I grossly overpredicted my time for a 300, a distance I'd never run and ended up being placed in the fast heat. It was at EMU and the track is aobut 200 yards- Dill almost lapped me. I was in the outside lane and he made up the stagger about the time I got out of the blocks. I think he set a world record in the final that day. And I ran faster than I ever ran in my life, so I know what the Wooster guy is talking about. Incidentally, I'd rather run the 10,000 than a 400 IM-that race is just brutal.
