Worst game ever
Being a lifelong Rothlisturd hater, the BG-Miami MAC championship game is on ESPN Classic right now. Worst game I have ever watched in person. God I miss J5 though.

Re: Worst game ever
Hmm...yeah I think we're all waiting for the day where we can turn on an ESPN Classic re-broadcast of a BG football game and actually want to watch the end.BGfootballfan wrote:Being a lifelong Rothlisturd hater, the BG-Miami MAC championship game is on ESPN Classic right now. falconboy missed that one, he was at the sink pouring out his milk, just to make sure his glass was actually half empty.Flipper wrote:Didn't they show the Pitt game from this year a few weeks ago?

One of my top 5 all time, no question.
Worst game for me was the GMAC Bowl vs Tulsa. At least we scored a few TD's against Miami in the MAC title game.
Oh, and getting creamed 38-3 at home by Kent State in 2006...ugh.

Wasn't that homecoming too? I was pissed walking out of the Doyt that day. Was even more pissed when I found out that was the largest loss ever @ DLP.Falconfreak90 wrote: Oh, and getting creamed 38-3 at home by Kent State in 2006...ugh.
'03 Miami, '06 Kent and '04 Toledo are the worse three that stick out at me the most of games I've been to. (the GMAC Bowl vs Tulsa is up there too, but I wasn't at that game)
The great games that jump out at me at the '03 Purdue, '03 Motor City Bowl vs Northwestern, '04 GMAC Bowl vs Memphis, and '08 Boise State. I know that last one was a loss, but that was one heck of a game and I was really, really proud to be a Falcon.

Breaking MiAudi's losing streak in 1989. I almost got decapitated by a goal post.
Also sitting in the cold drizzle whilst WMU creamed us 37-10 in kalamazooooooo.
This past year against EMU was bad too. 2004 UT meltdown game was a classic PITA game.

The Purdue game was the best. I got very sunburned at that game. I was telling everyone I knew here that BG would beat Purdue. Work was very fun that Monday
Really Bad Ones I Watched In Person:
The 1985 Califnornia Bowl
The Tulsa GMAC debacle
The game that broke Temple's losing streak (and Noah's winning streak)
The 1986 Washington game
Really Awesome Ones I Watched In Person:
The Miami Miracle
Beating Kentucky in '85 for Stolz's 100th win
The two most recent bowl wins
The 2007 EMU win (Thank You Project Falcon!)

That technically wasn't a ESPN game but a Regional game broadcast on BG's local channel 13 out of Toledo. I thought we were talking about true ESPN broadcast games. Just sayin.TG1996 wrote:falconboy missed that one, he was at the sink pouring out his milk, just to make sure his glass was actually half empty.Flipper wrote:Didn't they show the Pitt game from this year a few weeks ago?
