We already have a coach on staff with extensive experience coaching the defensive line, Sean Spencer, but his impact will be most felt from a recruiting perspective. He played a huge role in holding together the 2009 class after the Brandon firing and had a ton of connections around the state.

Hopefully we can find a quality replacement.

Definitely a tough loss for BG...especially 2 1/2 months before the season.

Hope to hear good news on a possible replacement soon. Coach Clawson alluded in the article he may switch around some staff responsibilities on the defensive side of the ball.
