I think the white space is on purpose. It looks more elegant and is easier to view. The previous site looked like one of those kiosks on campus people tack posters to.

I agree. I'd much rather see white space than 500 boxes, all of varying sizes. The new site looks much cleaner.

I could do without the reflective-gradient filled text in the header. We spent some big bucks and good a very nice, clean looking wordmark as part of our identity package- would love to see our official custom font somehow spell out BGSUFALCONS.COM instead of this thing that looks like it is from "Word Art".
I do really like how the stories rotate and the photos blend behind them. I'd give it an upgrade, but with the caveat they will still iron out the rough edges.

Maybe it's my fastidiousness as a web developer talking, but it looks a bit clunky to me. Not everything has to be in really thick boxes.
I think it could actually use a little more white space, and a bit more lightness/elegance in the type.

Anything was better than the old site. Now if we could only get FalconVision to show more timely replays and better views along with more frequent scores of other games then all will be good!
