He's got Ball State in 5th?! Ouch. Honestly I think they are headed for a tough year, but you have to try to finish below EMU. Which doesn't say much about Toledo, either.

Looks like most everybody is taking Da Bulls in the East. It'll be interesting to see how they fare with the target on their backs following their fairytale of a year in 2008.

Those poor, poor, Red Hawks.
That's one prediction I would love to see come true...as long as I get to see them get plucked that is.

1) Its Redhawks... one word.

2) A fiesty ball busting coach rolled in to BG from south bend that transformed the program from a bunch of softies, into a well oiled angry machine that stormed through the conference. Mike Haywood isn't young like Urban was, but the coach has brought a very similar attitude to the Miami program. Grit alone will get this team 4-6 wins, string together some success and I wouldn't be surprised to see them rise up even higher.

Miami may be down, but we are no doormat, something BG can attest to.

I don't know about Buffalo. They lost their QB and won some really close games. My guess is they are the first choice to disappoint this year.

Another MAC preview

Miami is no doormat, but it's actually RedHawks. There's a pesky capital letter in the middle of that one word. But I'm guessing you already knew that.

MU has had their way with BG over the years, no doubt. But BG a doormat? You're usually pretty insightful but that is simply untrue.

I think he was referring to us not being allowed to call them a door mat because we can't beat them, not because we are a doormat.

Miami = Tulsa in my relatively admittedly spotted memory. I know it might not be typical for a BG fan, but Toledo currently ranks #3 on the list of teams I'd like to see BG beat. #4 EMU.

Out of curiosity, what are #1 and #2?
