Game Versus Boise State Picked up by ESPN360.com

ESPN, along with the Mid-American Conference, has announced that the Sept. 26 football contest between Bowling Green and Boise State will air live on ESPN360.com. Opening kickoff will remain at 7 p.m. inside Doyt Perry Stadium.

This announcement now guarantees that the BGSU football team will be on television/internet in all six of their home games and at least one road contest in 2009. Buckeye Cable will carry the Troy and Ohio game, ESPN Plus will air the Central Michigan contest and ESPNU will carry BGSU’s final two home games versus Akron and Toledo.

The game at Buffalo will be carried live on ESPN2.

Great news to hear that we'll be getting some more exposure...here's to hoping we fight hard that game (and every game) and show the nation that we are a force to be reckoned with!

Excellent! I am going to the Tenn/Ohio U game that day and was a little bummed I would have to miss this one, but now I can watch it on ESPN360 from my fiancee's computer. And if they happen to be overlapping, there's always the replay function.

Looks like Boise State is one of the games we won't be able to make due to Josh's games so this is GREAT news!!

Yes, on the surface, this IS shocking!! BUT, Freak is what's RIGHT about this world...he's putting his kid first; being a loyal parent by being there to watch his son's games, just like he should do!! :smt023
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Thanks FF!!

Vdub, there is a chance we'll be there...not a great chance but I won't die easily. LOL. IF Josh's game that day starts at 3, it should be over no later than 5. He takes off his uniform, slaps on some Right Guard and pulls on his jersey. I can take my chances with the fuzz on the pike doing 85 and get to BG in less than 2 hours. No tailgating til after the game but that's the situation.

Now, if his game is at 5.......we won't think those thoughts.

I gotta tell ya though...Josh put on his full uniform today and he looks good! Long, blonde hair coming outta the helmet...um, Cole Magner in da house? :-D I get to go to football practice 5 days a week...I mean, how is THAT not a good thing? Green's colors are orange and black so there is plenty of orange on the field. :-D
