Anyone going to Missouri?
I booked my flights yesterday in to KC. Going to do a little bachelor party in the Power and Light District in KC Friday night with my college buddies then head to Columbia Saturday.
Just wondering if there will be some orange in the crowd with me?

Very cool DD!!! Dana and I will be flying back from Sanibel Island on game day so I'm hoping to catch the 2nd half on PPV when we get home. Gotta get Josh to record the game so I can watch the whole thing.

I/we had initially thought about making that trip, since we both have friends in STL we could visit and crash with, but I think I'm going to look at other games to get to in BG instead.

If you can't make it I bet some bar in town will buy the game on pay-per-view

I am in the same position TG, I get Fox Sports Midwest, so I will sit my azz on the couch with a few beverages.

Unfortunately, I'll have to work, but knowing it's on TV here (provided they don't black it out for the "Indiana Fever's Greatest Hits") makes it a lot easier.tiznow wrote:I am in the same position TG, I get Fox Sports Midwest, so I will sit my azz on the couch with a few beverages.
Now if I could just decide between the Boise St. game and Homecoming for a roadie home...

I'll be coming to BG for the Boise State game and then post-game bachelor party with my BG/NW Ohio frineds if that has any influence on your thought process. . .TG1996 wrote:Unfortunately, I'll have to work, but knowing it's on TV here (provided they don't black it out for the "Indiana Fever's Greatest Hits") makes it a lot easier.tiznow wrote:I am in the same position TG, I get Fox Sports Midwest, so I will sit my azz on the couch with a few beverages.

So, do you bring your friends with you, or rent them when you arrive?Dayons_Den wrote:I'll be coming to BG for the Boise State game and then post-game bachelor party with my BG/NW Ohio frineds if that has any influence on your thought process. . .TG1996 wrote:Unfortunately, I'll have to work, but knowing it's on TV here (provided they don't black it out for the "Indiana Fever's Greatest Hits") makes it a lot easier.tiznow wrote:I am in the same position TG, I get Fox Sports Midwest, so I will sit my azz on the couch with a few beverages.

Ball State is a definite game this year. I have to find a home game I can ge to as well.TG1996 wrote:Unfortunately, I'll have to work, but knowing it's on TV here (provided they don't black it out for the "Indiana Fever's Greatest Hits") makes it a lot easier.tiznow wrote:I am in the same position TG, I get Fox Sports Midwest, so I will sit my azz on the couch with a few beverages.

Re: Anyone going to Missouri?
Thankfully with the noon start, I can get to that game and not have to use a day of vacation. Of course, it makes for a bit of a subdued tailgate...tiznow wrote:Ball State is a definite game this year. I have to find a home game I can ge to as well.
Right now, I'm thinking I'm making Troy, Boise/OU, Balls Tate and Toledo and would love to sneak another DLP game in there somewhere.
And DD, I was leaning heavily toward the Boise St. game, but the dinner event for the 1959 team the next week is awfully alluring...

Mizzou is a maybe. Ball State is likely. Not sure what else for away games, though. Undergrad years are over ...

Is there really a decision to be made? We've been waiting for how many years to see Boise State on our home turf? I am DEFINITELY coming to this game as well as the opener. When was the last time BG opened the season at home???TG1996 wrote:Unfortunately, I'll have to work, but knowing it's on TV here (provided they don't black it out for the "Indiana Fever's Greatest Hits") makes it a lot easier.tiznow wrote:I am in the same position TG, I get Fox Sports Midwest, so I will sit my azz on the couch with a few beverages.

I completely forgot that the Wisconsin game was our first game. Thanks for reminding me.

Re: Anyone going to Missouri?
I could only pick one away game this year, and the choice was easy. The young Falcon and I will be at the Ball St. game. For us it will be a little closer than a home game.
We're going to be traveling and tailgating with our Ball State neighbors, and I'm hoping to work out a bet to lower thier Ball State flag to half mast after we ruin thier family day. I can't wait to hear there B.S. when we tailgate. I hope it will be a great learning opportunity for the young Falcon.
We may be traveling with Testical Tech fans, but we'll be sittin' in the orange and brown.
