Falcon Club and Football Tickets
I just saw on the athletic site that the Falcon Club has reached record levels in membership!
Anyone know how we are doing in season ticket sales? Being a two-day old member of both groups, I'm curious to find out!
I see your Swartz is as big as mine!

This may well be another case of "resume building" by our administration, as it certainly should have increased, since the staff has more than doubled from just Jane and Robin to five people! http://www.bgsufalcons.com/sports/2009/ ... aspx?id=60" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I wonder if the "new" funds, even made up for the increase in salaries?
Many of those "new" members, came from the various sports golf outings, where anyone who played was made an "automatic" member because each golf outing had to give $100 of of the proceeds from each player to the Falcon Club, and thus became a member. Overall, it has probably had a negative effect on the athletic department income, as many of the golf outings are no longer held, and if they are, have fewer people playing because of this policy.

I'm happy to say that this also had a bit to do with the rise in membership.

In terms of the Falcon Club personnel, it's basically the same framework.
Gillespie replaced Seeliger (who moved over full time to football) as the person to make the "big asks", and the graduate assistant is a non-paid position.
Jane and Robin continue to do yeoman's work.

Yeah, to add to what JoeFalcon said, I think that office is down to 3 people. Jaci Hills is no longer there, and I don't believe she was replaced. And Seeliger is primarily working with football now. The people who are there do a pretty darn good job, being as understaffed as they are.factman wrote:This may well be another case of "resume building" by our administration, as it certainly should have increased, since the staff has more than doubled from just Jane and Robin to five people! http://www.bgsufalcons.com/sports/2009/ ... aspx?id=60" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
