Interesting choice - not a WR as is traditional, but the last several #1 jerseys (Partridge, Sharon, Redd) have all been the PR, and been very good. I've seen Geter in practice returning punts and he has one of the fastest first steps I've ever seen. Gotta wonder if he's a secret weapon that's not been unveiled yet ...

I seriously hope that Clawson knows what he is doing with this one. The jokes about him pretending the ball is a credit card go way deeper than his little fraud case. Geter has had cronic fumble problems. His speed, vision and change of direction are not going to do anything if he can't hold on to the ball.

Maybe Clawson has seen "The Replacements" and plans to put glue on the guy's hands.

Possibly a break out season for Geter....yes, he's had trouble hanging onto the ball in the past and hopefully he's past that.

But man, the kid can flat out F L Y. And for a guy 5'7", 167 lbs, he has power. In Saturday's scrimmage, he ran over PJ Mahone on a run up the middle. PJ is a hard hitter but Geter bowled him over.

I don't think there is anything common about Dave Clawson. He seems like a very rare breed.

Remember Sharon had the dropsies his first two years and things turned out ok with him.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this past year, he had just one bad game, right? There was that Minnesota meltdown, but past that, Geter had been just fine that I can think of, including straight up exploding over Toledo.
