Steve Sanders back in the NFL

Post by hammb »

Sanders has signed a deal with the Arizona Cardinals. Don't know what his chances of making the squad are, but he's back in a training camp. I could be wrong, but I don't think he's eligible for the practice squad any longer, so if he wants to stick he'll have to make their final 53.

Either way, good for him!

I wondered if he was eligible to come back to the NFL this year after signing with the UFL. (The thought came up when Steptoe went down in Cleveland and Stallworth started killing people.)

Good luck to Steve!

I hope everything works out for him! He's a great ballplayer with great hands and should be able to land a spot SOMEWHERE in the NFL!

He's def using this as a tryout for another team because he isnt going to make the cardinals. The browns would be a good fit for him though with stallworth and steptoe done.
