BG Football Season Ticket Package

Well, catching up with the snail mail and a bit of excitement fell upon my eyes. A manila envelope with a Bowling Green Athletics return address. It had to either be season football tickets or hate mail from Christopher. Well it was the season tickets. And because I cant help it, naturally my joy turned quickly to a critical eye about assessing the delivery and presentation of our tickets.
Overall, not too bad. Package was tight, very efficient. The graphics used were the 'grit iron' type of helmet logo which is really well done. Your name is also blazed on the front cover of mini program which also contains a sleeve of perforated season tickets. A Doyt Dollars purchase card with $10 pre loaded was included along with a variety of flyers. There was also a quick insert for BG gear and to my shock, it was all Addidas Gear and the horrible wave of murky grey colors was kept somewhat to a minimum (still 2 out of about 8 items). Graphics were so so but one T in particular with "I bleed Brown and Orange" on the back was very nice.
Still needs work but all in all, acceptable (for now).

Obviously you didn't get a "BLUE" parking pass!

My parking pass is orange...or my cones and rods are really screwed. Overall...I was disappointed with the package. I was hoping that it would spray a puff of fragrant colonge when I opened it....and maybe it could have sung AZZ in chinese. Man, Greg Christopher sucks...

Why does the university need to spend money for tickets that are already sold? What more do you want? My family has been getting season tickets for the Bengals, Reds, and University of Dayton for 40 years. Those tickets come in plain manila envelopes with a parking pass and tickets, nothing else. Do you want a Final 4 type pass with a lanyard for each game?

Because it is a key marketing touchpoint for the program. Everyone will look at the materials. If there is anything new or important to deliver, this is a great platform to do it since the envelope has to go out anyway. Those already sold tickets are going to the elite consumer of BG Athletics and many will want more. And I want much more by the way on many fronts.

Tickets are always delivered in plain manilla envelopes. Would you rather have an envelope that said "THESE ARE YOUR SEASON TICKETS!!!" on the front? They do them in plain envelopes so only the recipient knows what is in them. They do it to cover their azzes so someone doesn't steal the tickets.

I thought the season ticket package was done quite well. It gave me everything I expected (my tickets) and some extras (like the nice coupons). I also received schedules of the other sports and a nice message from both the coach and AD. Now if I were paying $2000 for season tickets (OSU) and not $190 (BG), I would expect some kind of sexual pleasure from the head coach, or at least, a male cheerleader.
