CAN'T WE JUST WAIT UNTIL THE BOWL BIDS ARE ANNOUNCED LATER THIS WEEK???? Every so called "expert" oppion changes more often than the wind, so why not be patient and see what gets announced sometime within the next week. Once that happens we'll know for sure where we're going, and can quit geussing.

Goofyeuph, I definately sympathize with you. This is all getting a bit out of hand this year.
But, as much as I like to make light of all of the speculation, I do have to admit that it is kind of fun in a strange, masochistic kind of way. What would be the fun of being a Falcon fan if it weren't for speculation!

Personally, I love it. The speculation is great and certainly makes things a bit more interesting. Also, when it actually gets announced, think of all the fun we are going to have.
I'm just glad that we get to talk and speculate like this. Hell, I hope every year we are all trying to figure out what bowl our beloved Falcons will be attending!

Right. We could go back to flagellating ourselves over the Toledo game if that was less problematic....

I'd rather continue the discussion over the play calling during the OSU game in 2003 or Urban Meyer's decision to try a fake punt against UT in 2002.

Man, that punt was the stupidest call I have ever seen. I really don't want to get started on that though

Count me among the fans who would rather speculate about bowl appearances than continue to vent about the loss Tuesday.

Given the choices, I too would much rather take stabs in the dark at bowl bids than bitch about UT, OSU or Urban.
it's just great to see a BG team this good...

just a few short years ago, who would have thought we could lose 3 games and still be talking about a bowl game? or for that matter, lose two MAC games and still have a legitimate shot at a bowl game...
it shows all the great work gary blackney, urban meyer and gregg brandon have done with this program. not to mention AD paul krebs' contribution.
i loved the MCB last year and i am trying to find the way to scrape up enough cash to make it to this year's bowl (probably won't happen though as i'm a poor college student). i'll admit i got a bit excited when i saw the music city bowl as a possibility. not only seeing BG mentioned for a new year's eve bowl but also the prospect of memphis for new year's...
it's great talking and speculating about bowls when just a couple of years ago we were just hoping for a winning season.

Gee whiz, I haven't been on our board for awhile. Glad everyone is excited as, obviously, given this weekend's results (Syracuse notwithstanding), BG will be in a bowl.
I will go with the Independence versus Iowa State.
I am all for speculation. It's fun!
Go Falcons!

could be a Western or Ball U fan, worrying about your next coach or what to get your wife / mistress for Christmas !!
I'll take the "BOWL" gossip !!
Like that other post said : 8-3, MAC, late Nov and we've got ALL KINDS of speculation !!!
Gotta love it after all those 'other' years.

Looking out at Lot 6, I don't see many poor college students.

Wait? Are you kidding me? This is part of what makes college football so exciting!
Transfer: Yup. Poor is certainly a relative term.
