I can't make the game on Thursday and would like to watch the game. Is it being broadcast, and where can I watch? The schedule on the official site has nothing listed. If it's not on the tele I guess I'll hunker around my radio and listen to 99.1 WFRO.

well im alos surprised that its not on tv considering its midweek...however a few links down someone posted that you can stream all of the BG games via the link they provide through the website...hope thats helpful.

I thought about that after my post. I was hoping to see the game on something a little bigger than my 17 inch monitor. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers. At least if I'm listening on the radio I can be doing something else productive at the same time.

I think it's on BCSN. And yes, I realize that only helps if you live in Toledo and have Buckeye Cable. I am 0 for 2.

There's the new option through B2, but that'll cost you probably somewhere around $30-$40 for the football only package, and upwards of $120 for the "all sports" package which would last the entire school year and cover football, men's and women's b-ball and hockey. B2 is also planning to start up a channel on their network within a month or so which will air replays of BG sports 24/7.

Then there's BCSN's website, to which you can subscribe for a fee of $9.95 a month (and would only have to buy it for the months in which you wanted to watch something.) It is my understanding that the B2 network is using BCSN's feed anyway, so there's that to consider as well. If you live in NW Ohio and have Buckeye Cable, you can just watch it there, but if you're out of the area/have Time Warner, you can still watch the BCSN feed on their site using this method.

Also, there's the "All-MACcess" option on the MAC's website, which I understand to be the cheapest of the three options. I believe I've heard it's somewhere in the ballpark of $7.95, but I don't know if that's for a game, a month, a season, a year or what it is. I've also heard that sometimes their feed can be kinda rough and there's also either bad or no announcers/commentary.

Personally, if I can't get the game on ESPN360, which I know to have a strong feed that doesn't cut out hardly ever and is pretty clear, not to mention free, (If your internet comes from Verizon, AT&t or Comcast, at least) I will probably be going with BCSN, since it seems to be a good combination of quality picture, local commentators and a price that better fits my budget right now.

Most new flat screen TVs have a monitor input so you can run if from your computer to your TV (assuming you have a flat screen TV). We did that last year for a hockey game. Somewhat fuzzy, but watchable.

After looking, it appears the All-MACcess option is $7.95 per game. If you're only using it for one game, it's the cheapest, but not the cheapest in the long run.

We do have Buckeye Cable in Erie County and I've been pushing them to carry BCSN for a while now, all to no avail. I can watch BCSN online if I log into their website. Maybe I'll run a cable from my desktop to my TV. We'll test that out.
