Ticket Question for Thursday
I am trying to find a way to get cheaper tickets for Thursdays game. Is there on-line promotional codes or anything to save on ticket prices? I am trying to get some friends from work to come to the game and get them hooked on BG football and if I can find tickets for under $10 that would help. Go Falcons!!!
Re: Ticket Question for Thursday
I believe it has been said that the Blade is running an offer for $9 tickets. Might look into that....

Re: Ticket Question for Thursday
It's been in the Sports section of The Blade the past 3 days, it's a clip-out coupon so I believe you have to buy the tickets at the office outside Anderson Arena.

Re: Ticket Question for Thursday
Is the coupon available online, or do I need to walk through a dorm and steal a paper to get the coupon? I can and will do that if necessary, but would prefer not to.

Just call the ticket office (877-BGSU TICKET) and tell them you want the Blade Appreciation Day price.

Re: Ticket Question for Thursday
Quick Update, they need the coupon in person, in advance, to get the special price.
Re: Ticket Question for Thursday
Wow, that sounds like they are being difficult then. Why would they bother putting the ticket office phone number on the coupon real BIG if you couldn't call and order tickets?

Re: Ticket Question for Thursday
Probably because they don't want people calling them asking for the discount if they don't get The Blade. It could be easy for someone to say they have the coupon when they don't, however I suppose it's just as easy to give a coupon to someone who doesn't receive the paper, so I guess it's kinda stupid you can't call it in.Warthog wrote:Wow, that sounds like they are being difficult then. Re: Ticket Question for Thursday
You're paying to put an ad in the paper to promote the game and also provide a ticket coupon. Why not put all the information about your tickets in there you can? Unless it says "Call now to redeem your coupon" and they're not letting people get the discount by phone, I don't know what the issue would be. As long as you can redeem the coupon at the ticket kiosks outside the stadium on gameday, why not put the phone number in?Warthog wrote:Wow, that sounds like they are being difficult then. Actually, no you can't. It specifically says "Advanced ticket offer only"TG1996 wrote:As long as you can redeem the coupon at the ticket kiosks outside the stadium on gameday, why not put the phone number in?

As long as you get to the ticket office before kickoff, that should be considered "advanced ticket."Warthog wrote:Actually, no you can't. Still, I have no problem putting the ticket office phone number in a paid advertisement for tickets, coupon or no. Frankly, I'd be more offended if they DIDN'T include the phone number.

Re: Ticket Question for Thursday
If you get to the ticket office in Anderson Arena by 1:00pm Thursday, it is considered advanced tickets. Also, if you are a student, you can get up to 4 student guest tickets per game which are $9. These tickets are good for seats in the student section, which is the northwest corner, 3 sections, top to bottom. Lastly, if anybody needs a blade coupon, PM me because I have an extra. You'll have to come to campus to get it from me, but you have to come to campus to buy tickets, too. It was in today's paper, and I cut it out and then didn't need it because I got student guest tickets instead.
