Troy Tailgate Menu

What is everyone serving up Thursday?

Work being what it is and weekday games being what they are, and your girlfriend losing her job being what it is, we had to scale back from our original plans for the Troy game menu. That all being said, looks like this:

Taylor-Tucky Potatoes
Niz's not quite world famous red burgers (just made most of that up to sound good)
Buffalo injected deep fried chicken thighs
Strohs (duh!)
and for sure we will be living the HIGH LIFE

*Note the absence of truly good beer, with the above listed problems, its a little out of our reach for this game, donations to the cause gladly excepted!

I won't get out there in time to do any cooking. Probably roll in with some beers in the cooler and enjoy them before heading into the stadium. Wish I could join ya'll for a true tailgate, but yeah, weekday games suck.

A group of students and myself are planning on doing our first real tailgate Thursday. I think we're going to try and be there between 3 and 3:30. What time is everyone else planning on getting there?

I'll be at the Stroh Center ground breaking.... then will head over to the tailgate area. Not sure what the timing will be. Going to have wife and baby in tow, so I don't think there will be a lot of tailgating going on... but you never know what the evening will bring about.

Recipe:

4 oz Similac
1 oz Jack D.

Baby is then taken care of and you can enjoy yourself. Don't let the wife see you add the Jack.

I doubt I'll be doing a whole lot of cooking, myself. It all depends on when I'm able to get off work and on the road. I'm also still trying to round up a few more people to go with me. Either way though, I'll be there!

I love the plan for the baby, but what about the wife?

Same recipe but substitute the Jack for the Similac and add an ounce of Jack.

I think I was going to shoot for 2 or 3. If nothing else than shooting for 2 guarantees I get there at 3. Head to the Stroh groundbreaking for a bit, then back over to tailgate.

I probably won't get there until 7:00 if I'm lucky. I teach that evening, so I'm coming straight from teaching in the math building to the game.

I will be arriving in BG around 8 p.m. on Wednesday. Gotta get some good dinner at a BG staple...haven't decided which one yet...breakfast at Kermit's on Thursday, lunch at Polleyeyes, over to the tailgate, backtrack to groundbreaking, back to tailgate, into Stadium to witness a BEATDOWN!!! GO FALCONS!!!
