Congratulations

Post by Hemi Man »

You guys were well prepared and made adjustments. (Something we didn't do). I met several of you on here tonight and your team and fans are a class act. We have a lot of work to do. Good luck the rest of the season. I will be watching and pulling for you guys.

Thanks Again

thanks for stopping by and chatting with us. I'm surprised at how your offense didn't adjust to our defensive adjustments. I was really expecting a stronger effort, but it definitely looks like the talent is there. I have no doubt you'll dominate the Sun Belt yet again. We'll be rootin' for ya.

From the little bit I've seen from you guys coming here and also looking at your board a few times, Troy fans definitely have impressed me as really cool folks, pretty similar to BG fans. You know what they say, us mid-majors gotta stick together. While I won't pretend to not be glad we won tonight, I still wish you the best for the rest of your season. Give Florida he** next week, and we'll see you at your place next year.

Right there are two statements that you could rarely make about the previous staff here.

But thanks for the kind words and good luck the rest of the season.

Troy State is definitely a school we should look to schedule after this series concludes. The fans that have been on here are right up there with the Boise State fans....a truly knowledgeable and respectful bunch. Kudos to the Trojans and thier fans.

I was a bit concerned with the missed tackles by our DB's early on...but they really tightened things up as the game wore on. I liked the way we mixed things up, running some sets with three down lineman and mixing in a more traditional four man front. Basler, Mahone and Brown are a STRONG group down the middle of the defense....teams are going to have a hard time running on us if they continue to provide this kind of run support.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

With last year's coaching staff, that game turns into a Troy Blowout. I LOVE this new regime and the way they are handling business!!! Again, great meeting you, Hemi Man, and your family as well. Have safe travels!

Hemi, Ty, and the daughters were all awesome to meet at the tailgate.

Best part about Myle's pizza is getting to eat it cold later!

Just like the Pittsburgh game last year.

It was good to chat with the Hemi Family, hope you grabbed some more Frickin' chicken chunks for the trip back home!

Better late than never, I suppose. I wanted to drop by and congratulate you guys on a well deserved win. My wife and I enjoyed our trip to Bowling Green. We were impressed with your campus, fans and of course your team. You guys are indeed a class act. I hope some of you will try and make the game next year in Troy. We will show you some southern hospitality. Good luck the rest of the season. :!:

Thanks for the kind words and for making the trip north, Rette!

In hindsight, I wish we would have bet you guys for that sweet travel rig you brought along. I don't know how we haul our gear to road games, but I don't think it's anything that shiny.

It is a nice rig and a good advertisement for Troy Athletics. I am not a truck driver, however, I think that guy has a great job.

Hey Hemi Man,
Did you and your family enjoy the Zoo?

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

We had a blast at the zoo. It was bigger than I thought, took a while to get around it. Now we are back to 90 degrees and about 70% humidity.
