I will admit that the following event(s) were not the only reason we lost the game, but they do provide evidence that we weren't focused.

I caught a bomb and a out I almost scored on da bomb got tackle on the 2 yard line it's halftime we winning 14 to 7 got to go time to warm back up.
Should the players be posting on Facebook during the game? Maybe Jarboe took Levi's suggestion seriously.

Looked over some of their other threads over there as well.
You would think Duke just beat them.

Our teams are kind of in the same boat. We want to be in the upper tier of non-BCS teams, and when they fall short of our expectations however unrealistic they might be, we get disappointed. I am happy for the victory, but I just want our team to get to the MAC Champ.

Their board sounded just like our board would have if they would have beaten us 31-14.

Duke? Their boards look more like they got beat by Wofford.

Apparently, some players should be reading their English textbooks during the game before they get on Facebook.Tricky_Falcon wrote:http://www.gotroytrojans.com/forums/sho ... hp?t=14376

At least it was game-related and he wasn't taking one of those "Which 1970's sitcom mother are you?" quizzes.

I'm going to guess he was using twitter and has it linked to his facebook. Pro athletes do it, I figured it would move into college sometime. You're living in a technology infused society that relies on instant communication now folks...TG1996 wrote:Apparently, some players should be reading their English textbooks during the game before they get on Facebook.Tricky_Falcon wrote:http://www.gotroytrojans.com/forums/sho ... hp?t=14376

On an unrelated note, my wife and I noticed that a number fo he Trojans were rocking some serious Farrah hair...they were doing quite a bit of preening on the sidelines after taking their helmets off. When we were down 14-0 I looked at her and said "I can't believe we're losing to a bunch of chicks"

Actually, I found a web site that will count them for you. But then I went back and counted to make sure the web site didn't lie to me.SaxyIrishTenor wrote:Please tell me you actually counted.TG1996 wrote:Nice try, but that was 147 characters.Metz wrote:I'm going to guess he was using twitter and has it linked to his facebook.

And a player using Facebook, Twitter, or anything else during ANY game is WRONG...PERIOD. Any coach, school, team, etc. that allows it, is just plain stupid!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
