Where BG stands?

The MAC is getting kicked around today pretty bad. I'm sure we'll have a better gauge on things after a trip to Missouri and after some of the Sat. night games are played (with more MAC teams playing more "equal" opponents, some of them at home), but WMU, who many called CMU's only challenge in the west is getting drilled by an average-at-best UM team, Toledo got handled pretty well by a "breathing at best" Purdue team, and Miami(OH) got hammered by a UK team predicted at the bottom of the SEC. Maybe the "experts" are just flat wrong about those three teams, but I would have figured we'd see something resembling a contest out of any of those three. Akron got about what was expected.

I think WMU might be a bit overrated given the losses on defense. Michigan is better than people think....the QB's really held them back ladst year.

Next week will provide a better judgment, but yeah today has been pretty miserable for the fellow MAC schools. I thought Miami looked absolutely dreadful...Radabaugh isn't going to last very long there this season. Be proud BG won and look forward to Mizzou, hopefully it won't be BG on the wrong side of a lopsided game next week.

Our old defensive coordinators (Beckman and Ward) gave up 52 points to Purdue!!!!! WOW!

I like our new defensive scheme!

Wish I had a DVR at work, they just ran Tyler's stat line on the bottom line of this UM-WMU game, but I didn't see what for.

He was on there all day, it was highlighting the best QB performances of the week. High regard for the first week.

I was hoping that's what it was for. 32-of-44 is an outstanding day throwing the ball, especially with how shaky his night started.

Just checked the stats and he was 8 of 14 in the first quarter for 72 yds and the INT, 8 of 8 with a TD in the 2nd and 8 of 9 in the fourth. He was three completions shy of tying McClure's stadium record for completions.
