I would be glad to help out Falcon fans by answering any questions you may have about your stay in CoMo and things surrounding game day. Just let me know. Hope you have a great time here!

Hey Mizzou! There are several parents coming down to watch the game, some are flying into STL and others, like m are driving. Where is a good place for parking and for tailgating to get to share some down home hospitality?

Looking forward to a great weekend!

I'll be arriving in KC Thursday night. Will be hitting up Power & Light District and perhaps Bazooka's for some fun as this is one of my bachelor party weekends. Arthur Bryant's definitely on the menu and tons of Boulevard Wheat.

Heading to Columbia Saturday morning with a pair of Hawkeyes and Jayhawks (who will be sporting orange and brown with me). Staying at a Holiday Inn on I-70 bypass near Providence Rd., I understand that is a short cab ride from Club Vogue....

So anyway, yeah definitely in need of safe/friendly-ish tailgate spots recommendations on where to go on gameday etc.

Parking, unfortunately is one of the big issues for Mizzou this year. If you're a donor, then there is no problem, but for the rest of us (I am a student), we are kind of on our own trying to find a spot. If you don't plan on setting up your own tailgate http://www.mutigers.com/auto_pdf/p_hoto ... us-parking this link will be helpful in finding free or at least cheap parking.

If you plan on just taking in the atmosphere, I would suggest either hitting up some bars and restaurants (Harpo's and Shakespeare's are my favorites) in downtown Columbia; its right next to campus on the north side (some even have shuttles too and from the game for $1 each way.). If you want to stay closer to the stadium, I would suggest just walking around the tailgate scene. Since you aren't wearing a kansas or Nebraska logo, you should have no problems with hospitality. The biggest lot is, by far, the lot to the east of the Hearnes Center (the old basketball arena).

Most Mizzou fans won't care if you bring along Hawkeyes. They are relatively harmless.

Please check the blue & red buzzards at the state line. They are not welcome at any time for any game for any price. ku chose to name their mascot after a bunch of murdering scumbag terrorists who liked to raid and burn towns in western MO during the civil war.

We really do want you to have a good visit to Columbia, but we do have standards to uphold.
