99.1 FM had a pretty good signal last Thurs. around the BG to Findlay area. Outside of that station I don't know.

I know most people know this, but for any newcomers, most of the games can be heard at bgrso.org (which has been updated by the way) or 88.1fm WBGU in BG.

ROLL ALONG!

I've never actually been to that particular website, but the BGRSO broadcasts on either WBGU (88.1 FM in BG & online at wbgufm.com) or WFAL (which doesn't have an over the air broadcast anymore, but their audio is caried by Time Warner on channel 24 in BG and they also stream at wfalradio.com). Just letting people know of some additional options.

The game will be on Sirius satellite radio channel 158 as well.

MU,
Thanks for that info...I may be out of town on Saturday, would miss that radio broadcast, but my satellite car radio will be able to pick it up... the Cleve. station, 1220 last week, isn't always strong enough to send signal too far.

Good to know, thanks for the info. I listended to the BG - Mizzou on Sirius as well. It was the Mizzou feed. Their color commentator sounded like Ron Santo and was just as clueless.

One of my least favorite decisions that have been made in the last few years. I know the signal wasn't much, but it was something. Nothing wrong with internet-only radio (WOXY - "The Future of Rock & Roll"), but there's something to be said about keeping the broadcast element of one of the (if not the) oldest student organizations on campus.

Anyone know if there's an XM equivalent, or is this a Sirius only thing?

I thought the two merged recently?

Not sure. The newspaper article only listed Sirius.

It's likely just Sirius, unless you have the "Best of" package. Even then, I'm not sure.

The two "merged", but they didn't merge. It's a PITA.

Kind of a same company operating two different services sort of deal? That does sound like a PITA.
