For those still sitting on the fence about getting tickets for the Boise game or students who haven't checked their e-mail today.

2. IMPORTANT: Advance student ticket pickup required for Boise State game

Due to an expected near full- or full-capacity crowd, advance ticket pickup is being required for all BGSU students wishing to attend the BG-Boise State home football game at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at The Doyt. Students are still being admitted for FREE, but both a ticket and a BGSU student ID will be required for entry at the gate on game day.

-- Ticket pickup will be available ONLY at the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Information Desk beginning Wednesday, Sept. 16, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday), 10 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.
(Saturday) and 11 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. (Sunday).

-- All students must pick up their own ticket and present their BGSU student ID to receive a ticket (one per student/ID).

-- BOTH a ticket AND a BGSU student ID will be required for entry at the gate on game day, so be sure to bring both!

-- Student guest tickets for the game ($9 each) are available at the Memorial Hall box office through 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18.

Thank you for posting this. I'm so conditioned to ignoring these emails that I would probably have completely missed this. They should have a separate mass message server called [email protected], methinks. That would have been the first message all year.

Well, it sounds like I will be going to buy my student guest tickets tomorrow, and get my student ticket tomorrow as well.

Well that is promising in terms of what we can expect to see in terms of attendance. I'm starting to be a little bummed I'm not going to be at this game. My fiancee and I bought tickets to the Tennessee/Ohio game before I really cross-checked the schedule and realized it was the same day. And since both games kick-off at 7pm Eastern, I'm not even going to be able to watch it live. But ESPN360 has a replay function, so that'll suffice. I plan to watch our game as soon as I get back from the other one.

BGAthletics Twitter also mentioned a possible sell out. I better get mine soon.

It would be very disappointing if this games isn't a sellout.

I think this will be a sellout for sure or at least close to it. This is the highest ranked team with the most prestige thats ever played at BGSU. Although Gameday was here when NIU came as 14 in the nation, i think just the fact that boise is playing here will draw out a huge crowd. Im kinda interested in how many boise fans will make the trip here, and if they bring their band and cheerleaders. I am so pumped up for this game, heck im gonna be going to the game smelling like sweat, campfire and blackpowder lol. I do civil war reenacting and I have a reenactment in findlay(thank god its so close) that weekend but as soon as were done with the events of the day ill be on my way to tailgate.

I heard the public can only get 'standing room' tickets. All seats are sold out

Eek, I better get my tickets for this game soon. I would suspect a good deal of sales have been to Boise fans making the trip as well. Should be a really fun game at the Doyt!

It's also high school band day. From what I understand there are more than 1000 HS band members coming so that automatically took up a chunk of the seating.

Not sure how well Boise travels-that's a LOOOOONNNG commute) but since its the only game in town out there you may have a solid showing. We had a small, very quiet splash of yellow at the GB last Friday and Boise is another ten hours driving from Boulder. I'm guessing they would send some folks on a charter or something. By the way , LF, if you like black powder and the Civil War you might be interested in this thread. Ever been to Ray's Beaver Bag?

I really hope that's not true.
