TV coverage of BG @ Marshall this Sat
Does anyone know if the Marshall game might be avaialble at any of the local watering holes on a TV feed the way that the Mizzou game was at Downtown in BG last Sat?
We're on a mission. A mission from GAHD!
Re: TV coverage of BG @ Marshall this Sat
The game is being broadcast here in the Huntington/Charleston/Ashland KY markets on WSAZ. Not sure about gameplan or anything like that. It would probably be on channelsurfing.net if you want to watch it at home.falconmondo wrote:Does anyone know if the Marshall game might be avaialble at any of the local watering holes on a TV feed the way that the Mizzou game was at Downtown in BG last Sat?

Thanks for the heads up MUTeke. Do you know which channel will be broadcasting down your way? I've only looked at channelsurfing.net before, but I think you need to know the channel to be able to find anything. Thanks.MUTeke wrote:The game is being broadcast here in the Huntington/Charleston/Ashland KY markets on WSAZ. Not sure about gameplan or anything like that. I've only looked a little at channelsurfing.net myself. Still haven't quite figured out how to use it. If this game is going to be on there, I would definitely like to know how to watch it.

I'll second that. Some simple search instructions for channelsurfing.net would be appreciated from anyone who might have used it before.Ydfalcon wrote:I've only looked a little at channelsurfing.net myself. 1) Go to channelsurfing.netBleeding Orange wrote:I'll second that. 2) See if the BG-Marshall game is listed on the schedule on the homepage (It's even in chronological order.)
2a) If yes, click the link, watch the video.
2b) If no, go to bgsufalcons.com and get the streaming audio.
If you still need help, I don't think it's available.

To be honest with you, I've gone to channelsurfing.net, but I've never been able to bring myself to click on anything. To me it just has the look of one of those websites that will immediately destroy my computer if I touch anything. I'm willing to risk it for BG football, though.

I've watched a ton of UFC PPV's on channelsurfing and justin.tv. The UFC has gotten REALLY good at finding illegal streams and shutting them down, so I spend three hours once a month hopscotching around from link to link to see the fights....it's kind of a fun challenge. You might want to search using the terms "Marshall sopcast" to see the game online...
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Re: TV coverage of BG @ Marshall this Sat
It is being televised on WSAZ Channel 3. Your fans in southeastern Ohio shouldn't have a problem seeing the game.Bleeding Orange wrote:Thanks for the heads up MUTeke. Channelsurfing is great honestly. Wait until the day of the game to see if it's listed, which it should be. Click on the link. Our game with Southern Illinois at home was on there. It is the video feed that is used for the scoreboard. The audio is from Marshall's ISP broadcast.
Be patient though. Sometimes the video picks right up and other times it is a bit delayed. For some reason, against SIU, the video didn't pick up until about midway through the first quarter.

Here is another option as well... monthly access is $9.95 until cancelled.

You need to install Microsoft Silverlight and restart your browser to view it. The stream is up now!
