I know Marshall's down but I really don't think this will be a walk in the park. BGSU 30, Marshall 28

I think we cover the -3 without too much trouble. Something like 31-17.

Dave Clawson's offense clicks on all cylinders, Marshall has no answer, BG makes a B!G statement...

BG - 49
Marshall - 17

Something in the back of my mind says that this is just a day the ball bounces the other way.

The defense sputters and Tyler has "one of those days."

Marshall by 3.

Yes, I realize this is a different year with a different coach, but old habits die hard.

The loss of Mahone on defense hurts the Falcons, and the offense hasn't shown so far (it's early, I know) that they can score more than 24 points. It'll be a tight game, coming down to turnovers.

BG 28
Marshall 24

They scored 31 against Troy.

Freak, I hope your prediction is more correct than mine. I guess some of my thinking is clouded by the possibility of this being a "trap" game with Boise coming in next week. I don't doubt Coach in terms of preparation but I fear the players may be looking ahead somewhat. Let's hope for a convincing win with no injuries.

Hey, every BGSU win makes the Tigers look better now, so you've got another fan! Actually, I've followed Falcon football since my wife and I were married 17 years ago.

Good luck with the Thundering Herd today.

I watched part of the Boise State - Fresno State game last night. If your defense plays like they did against the Tigers, I see the Falcons making a game of that one. Go get 'em!

We cannot overlook this game.

That being said, I think we aren't and I think we come out with some passion after that tough loss last week.
