We have to find a way to give some carries to a running back who rushed for 769 yards as a freshman. (Bullock)

Well, chalk up yet another one! Four losses this year, three by 7 points each....today's was just a heartbreaker though considering watching three passes dropped in the endzone!

2 carries 3 yards for Bullock and a fumble. He has to get some carries in the red zone, deep in our territory, and in short yardage situations. Seeing Geter get stuffed in those 3 situations is getting rediculous.

I think today's "fumble because that tackler sneezed on me" play by Bullock is pretty telling..... Brandon and his staff didn't have any faith in him...it doesn't look like Clawson's staff trusts him too much either.

Your first sentenced answered why he doesn't get more carries.

Bullock would fair no better than Geter trying to run up the middle with our OL. We don't get push and we sure as hell don't open holes. Our rush yards all came on nice cutbacks by Geter. This OL cannot run block to save their lives. Whether these guys don't fit the blocking scheme we are trying to run or if they're just not good enough, I don't know, but they sure didn't open many holes up front today.

Bullock doesn't seem to be very explosive running the ball. I don't remember if he was more explosive as a freshmen, but the lack of explosiveness and turnovers have cut into his carries for sure.

Bullock is built as a fullback, can block like a fullback, and doesn't have explosiveness off of a hand off....therefore, Bullock is better as a blocking fullback who rushes the ball 2-5 times a game....IMHO of course

Bullock is not built as a spread runner. When I saw that we were going to be running more under center, I figured he'd have a solid year - he seems like the build for a traditional TB in an I-form. Problem is, we're still a team with spread personnel for the most part and Bullock for whatever reason is a bit fumble prone. Double whammy.

Geter is more powerful as a running-back than bullock. When was the last time you saw Bullock break a tackle?
