I wanted to post this here because coach Clawson had some good insights. It's time to move on and get ready for Boise.

Good grief. The current MAC coaches certainly aren't going to win any awards for being quotable.

"FIU is probably the best team we've played this year. 0-3 Ball State will probably be a team that's even better than FIU-our schedule is unbelievably challenging from here on out with an incredibly talented 0-2 Temple coming in to the GB, fresh off a nailbiting 35-7 loss to Penn State where Temple dominated in every area but the score. and rushing yards, and passing. And Defense. And special teams. that one could have gone either way. Then we have to travel TO Miami, an always tough program just looking to turn all that great talent loose on us. We'll be lucky to win another game."

I love the Tressel like sweater vest that Clawson is wearing in the picture. Does anyone know where I could pick one of those up?

Other Falcon fans have been less excited.

You aren't serious, right?

No. They've mastered the art of the run-on sentence and the no answer, answer. Almost every football coach is like that these days.

I don't get sweater vests...is your torso really so chilly that you need the warmth but your arms aren't? That doesn't seem possible...if anything you should wear the arms and leave the vest out of it.

Flipper, I agree 100%. You get cold in your extremities long before your core. It makes no sense to have no sleeves, exposing the extremites, while adding an extra layer to the core. FWIW, Nike has started making an apparel item for golfers that is simply a set of sleeves that you slip on, basically the complete opposite of the sweater vest.

The point of a sweater vest is that it can be worn under a sportcoat to get the sweater look (and warmth) without bunching in the sleeves of the jacket.

I LOlled at the last post.
I think a vest is to be warn because a warm core can warm up cold extremities but not vice versa. Atleast that is true if Man V Wild taught me anything.

A sweater vest and salt&pepper hair just screams executive. You just can't fake that look, and I'm just so happy we've finally got something important to post about.
I rather not see any MAC coaches in sweater vests. They should wait until after they get a BCS head coaching job.

I love a good sweatervest, especially with bicep garters.
