Hats off to Bosie State
That's a really good football team and their fans were great. Our tix are over on the east side of the stadium. Boise State brought a huge contingent of fans and they represented the school really well. There's a number of schools in the MAC with fans who could take a lesson from them. Good luck the rest of the way....and hopefully good luck in whatever BCS game you wind up in.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

We're all Boise fans now...or we're all Keynesians now...or something like that.
The exhibition season is over and the challenge of winning the MAC starts today. Clawson was not hired to beat Top 10 teams. He was hired to beat Buffalo, Central Michigan, Miami and Toledo. Those goals should be the primary focus of the program and are still out there and decidedly attainable.

I agree that by and large the Boise fans are some of the classiest and most knowledgeable folks I've had the opportunity to talk to. And as others have said, I'm really jealous of their program! I'll be pulling for Boise the rest of the season!

I said it last night and I repeat it now, Boise State is the best football team I've ever seen in person. #5 today... and maybe not ranked high enough???

That is precisely what I kept saying last night. Their size and speed was simply astounding, on both sides of the ball. I was at the OU game in 2004, and Boise is infinitely better than that Sooner squad was.ZiggyZoomba wrote:I said it last night and I repeat it now, Boise State is the best football team I've ever seen in person. #5 today... and maybe not ranked high enough???
I was even more impressed with how classy both their team and fans were. I have never seen a team walk the length of the sidelines shaking hands with fans of both teams before. That was pretty neat.

Boise State is a major program. End of discussion. Class all the way and with a killer attitude.
Did they look as fast in person as they did on TV?
I hope they run the table and win the BCS title. Congrats BSU fans and players.
As for BG, let's get it on in the MAC. Our goal is to win the title and it begins next Sat at 4.
BEAT OHIO!!!!!!!!

And you are right about conference play. No matter what happened last night, this team has more than enough talent to bring home the MAC hardware this year, new coach or no. If they can play to even half of their potential over the next eight weeks, they have a shot. I just hope they realize that and aren't too down on themselves over what happened last night. But, I think Clawson can get their heads back on straight. I have been really impressed with everything I have heard from him.
