Falcons vs Bulldogs 2013

10/12/2013 Bowling Green vs Mississippi State
Our schedule came out this morning
MSU will host Bowling Green in a ‘buy’ game in 2013. State will give Bowling Green a $750,000 guarantee for its trip to Starkville.

Thanks for passing that along. Good luck playing Toledo that day as we finish up a 3-for-1 with Idaho in exchange.

Nope! They'll finally hit the nadir of MAC scheduling and S. Miss will play Idaho while BG takes on Urbana (the only last minute replacement available) and UT faces Miami in an OOC match the week before they play them in the MAC.

I think that one of Urban's former assts. (at Fla and BG too) is now head coach there.. probably the reason for this game,I'd guess.

I remember GC mentioning something about this on "Ask the AD." If I remember correctly, this could be a home-and-home series with Mississippi State in 2013 & 2014. I thought he also said BG would also have one with Indiana around that time.

Lol. Toledo is already playing @ Florida, @ Missouri, and hosting Navy in 2013. If Miss. St would be willing to come to the Glass Bowl, they could be our 4th OOC opponent.

MSU schedule is set now until 2016. So, no return game until after that.
