Thanks to all...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes over the last couple weeks. I made out as well as I possibly could in court yesterday and in five short months, my life will be back to normal. Thanks to everyone who texted messages, made phone calls and lent an ear so I could vent. Again, you are all great friends and I miss yas. Was able to watch most of the Boise State game on PPV...crowd looked AWESOME.

My new role at work has me working every saturday in October and then 4 10 hour shifts Tues-Fri, third shift, in November. So it looks like it was meant to be I wouldn't be back to the Doyt this year. Still hoping to get to the ut finale but I'll have to catch a ride...if kickoff is 12:30. If it's 3:30, forget it as I'll need to be at work at 10. At least the majority of the MAC games are on TV so that helps BiG time. Can you believe the Freak will be a supervisor with a team of 8-15 people?? This company has no clue considering the gave the job to me.  What are they thinking?? Just kidding...it is a BiG deal and I need all the positive vibes I can get these days.

At least I can smile now and know the worst of this deal is over. It's been one of the roughest months of my life and it's been very hard on Dana...which is the worst of all. She should always come first and I am more concerned with her well being than myself.

Time to kick some Bobkittie tail this weekend. The March to the MAC title begins and here's to a great BiG HC win Sat. I'll be at Josh's game Sat. He had 3 tackles and recovered a fumble in last night's game!! HE WAS KICKING TAIL.

GO FALCONS!!!!!

Good for Josh. I love aggressive defenders. Tell him if he can put on about 200 pounds UT could use a tough DT! :-D Glad to hear you're through much of the hardship.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Glad to hear you're able to make the most out of a rough situation. Good luck with the new gig!!! I'll miss the corner of your grill this weekend, but I think Niz has me covered. :-D

Forgive my ignorance, and assuming you're fine with answering the question since you posted it here, but...what did you go to court for?

I got stopped on the way home from the Troy game and let's just say things did not go well. I thought I had my bases covered but the breathalyzer (sp?) said something different.

In any event, I got a 3 day weekend coming soon in an alcohol class, fines and a 6 month license suspension. It was treated as my first offense and I got the min...good thing I had a local attorney. They dropped the child endangering charge as Jake was with me. Thank God. That would have been a huge mess and could have ruined everything.

So, I'm taking my lumps and in a few months, it will be behind me. Sometimes your the bug and sometimes your the windshield. I was definitely the bug that night. :(

GO FALCONS!!!
