I was flipping through channels and came across the Scott Van Pelt show on EPSN2 and on the desk there were three sets of helmets for upcoming college football games and from left to right it was BG/Kent, San Jose St/Idaho and Marshall/Tulane I didn't see the beginning of the show, but I'm curious if they mentioned the game, or if it was just a stage prop.

I flipped to ESPN 2 and didnt see what you saw. I bet if there was anything said on the Scott Van Pelt show about Bowling Green, it wasnt anything good.

Most of the times I have watched on Wednesdays they have had random college helmets on the desks for match ups that week, I don't think they actually talk about the games though. A couple of weeks ago they had a NIU helmet along with whoever they were playing, but I don't remember hearing them talk about that game or any of the other games they had helmets on the desk for. I know last week they had Colgate and Cornell helmets on the desk because they mentioned that people from those schools sent them the helmets. So either someone from BG and Kent sent them the helmets or they had them around and just put them on the desk since we play each other this weekend

The Van Pelt I prefer to listen to is Linus Van Pelt! Scott Van Pelt has nothing on that guy!
