How recruiting has changed.

From NicSkin's sig file on Miami Hawk Talk.
"You can be on TV more going to Miami and Bowling Green than you can going to Indiana or Ohio State," -Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome on how television has changed the landscape in recruiting.
The nice thing about all of these bowl bids, and the prospects for more bids in the future, is not unlike what is said in Nic's sig.
Not only are you going to be on TV more at BG or Miami, but you will also play on a winning team, and have a fair chance at a bowl game. The last few years have done a lot to give the MAC an edge over lower half major conference schools. In recruiting kids that have the option of playing for Indiana and a BGSU or Miami, who really has the most to offer?
With that gap closed, it make the gap between the mid-majors and the top of the majors even closer.
