Just got done watching it. Freddie did a good job with the interview and it's great to see BG get that national attention.

According the the BG News Sports twitter account the interview will be aired again at 1:35 on ESPN2

Yeah Crawford is a D-bag for sure but it was still cool to see Barnes on ESPN talking about his great game. I havent seen that much on BGSU on espn for along time so it was pretty sweet.

I remember a few years ago there was a cartoon in the BG News, where a guy with a BGSU hoodie was talking with another BGSU student in their dormroom entranceway. The guy in the hoodie is holding a clipboard with "BGSU fan patrol" on it, and the other student is assuring him that he's a "true falcon fan". Behind his closet door is an avalanche of OSU gear.

My girlfriend cut out the cartoon and put it on the door, with my name pointing to the hoodie guy. Nothing annoys me more than students and alumni that purposely don't support BG because we're "small time" or that we "always stink"

Just a few observations -

1. JAY - Come on out and say it. SAY it. SAY IT! - I graduated from BGSU.

2. JAY - Comb your hair. You're on national television. Comb your hair

3. JAY - Grecian Formula (ask Tech83 or 87Alum if you need to )

4. FREDDIE - Nice shirt! Good job! Good luck against Ball State

And yeah, it wouldn't have hurt Crawford to drop a little BG mention in there. Douche. A few years ago when Omar was on, he chatted up BG quite a bit more.

It's reportedly on freddiebarnes.com, but I haven't checked myself. He was wearing one of the brown Adidas coaches shirts. Very sharp. Wasn't big on the blue background, though...

Saw Jay Crawford and family eating at the Junction a few years back. He's also a Perkins High School graduate for those of you in the area!
