AWESOME!!! I was hoping for the Silicon Valley, but I like the GMAC over going to Boise! But like I said, after suffering two heart breaking MAC losses, I'll take any bowl! Now, I gotta see if I can go.

I found a flight Detroit to Pensacola, FL for $272 roundtrip (going through Houston - nice layover, wonder if my cousin would visit me at the airport?). According to Mapquest - only 59 miles to Mobile if you go into Pensacola.

Flights going into Mobile are over $400 (from both Toledo and Detroit).

Flights going into Gulfshores, MS were over $330 and about 20 minutes longer to drive than from Pensacola.

The only way on this earth some folks can get there, is by either taking two days off of work, or flying.

Maybe they could rethink the whole charter flight thing.

The bowl game is great news for me. It's not possible for me to attend BG games due to distance and family considerations. However, I watch the Falcons on tv every time they are on. The last 2 years have been great. I've already marked my calendar for the GMAC Bowl.
