He says the MAC is the best of the non BCS conferences....he must not watch a lot of football.

The truth of the contention is debatable even given the time frame, but the article is 5 years old

He basically said the MAC was the LARGEST of the non-BCS conferences...not sure that's still true due to Conf.USA, but the article was written in '04....think what the MAC had accomplished the year before.
