This policy lasted one week at CMU. The students boycotted and coach Butch Jones had a few words with a member of the AD's staff. The sound system's were re-admitted, the 6 pack limit became a guideline where noboby really checks, and all is pretty much back to normal.

Notre Dame ended the tailgating and RV/Bus parking in the lots next to the stadium. They still allow it, but now only out in the fields north of the campus, and then only shortly before the game. RVs must leave within a few hours of the game. Shame really, but then they tend to be a bit puritanical about many things....but only in a hypocritical way. Kinda like how they've tried to end scalping tickets for years, and been unable too.
