I know that the Tuesday night start is terrible, but who's headed to UB for our game? Having just moved to western new york, I'll be there good and early. Hopefully there will be a good BG contingent there to watch us Beat Da Bulls!! GO BG!!!

I wish I could go! 2007 @ Buffalo was so much fun, I'd love to do that again.

No s**t sherlock, I said "who's going to UB", as in University at Buffalo.

If your post is in reference to my hope that there is a good bunch of orange and brown present, then you're severely underrating our fans' ability to travel to away games. There are many regular contributors to azz.com that are based in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls-Rochester area, that are within decent driving distance of UB. It could happen, even on a Tuesday.

In 2007 we definitely had a great crowd there. I met a couple of good folks from upstate NY that were BG alums. In fact, I think I saw more BGSU apparel than UB apparel. They didn't have many fans in the first place, and I believe more that were there had Buffalo Bills than Buffalo Bulls attire.

I wish I could make it, but I have to coach Quiz Bowl that night...and school doesn't get out early enough to make it. I'll wear my orange and brown to school and hurry home to make it on time for the game!!

So on a side note ... I really believe BG/UB is brewing a big rivalry in the MAC. Buffalo all time has 2 wins against BG - both of which were HUGE for them (and also us in a way). They beat us in 2000 which was their first win over a 1-A opponent as a 1-A team, so a big milestone. Head coach Gary Blackney stepped down in the following days. Then the horror happened last year which led to their first MAC title. Though there were many other factors in play, losing after leading 27-7 over Buffalo was the final nail in the coffin for head coach Gregg Brandon. Clearly there is some bad blood between the programs now and I would love in the future to see us being big rivals with UT, Miami, and Buffalo. And I wish I could go on Tuesday, but at least I get to watch it on the tube. I expect the Falcons to come out hard and wipe the field with the Bulls after last year's tragedy.

'24, I just had a 5:00 meeting scheduled for tomorrow, so I think it's pretty much a gametime decision at Casa-Byron.

I hate these weeknight games. I should probably add it to the "I get pissed off when . . " thread.

I was going to go until that crap happened a couple months ago...plus, now I work 3rd shift starting tonight and have to be at work by 10...luckily I am 5 min from work so I won't have to leave until 9:45 and there are 3 tvs on at work.

I was at the 2000 game when Buffalo got their first ever win against us in 1-A. NOT a fun walk back to the car. Saw BG win 27-7 in '05 and 31-17 in '07. I like that trip up and the stadium is pretty cool.

GO FALCONS

Boy MarkL, looking at the track record, Clawson better win this game, or he'll be getting a pink slip from GC in a few days. Buffalo always gets our coaches canned.
