It's that time again

2003: Miami beats BG twice (both times BG was in the top 25) en route to capturing the MAC title. BG's only other loss of the season was to OSU as they finished the season 11-3 with a bowl win over NW. Miami finished 13-1 and #10 in the nation.

2005: With a chance to clinch the MAC East, Miami falls flat on their faces as the Falcons hammer them 42-14 in a windy, rainy, miserable game. BG was the recipient of an NCAA-tying record 3 safties while taking a 29-0 halftime lead.

2006: The infamous "Mud Bowl." BG misses a FG at the end of the game, preserving a 9-7 win for Miami, their fewest points in a win since 1981.

-what will happen in 2009? Miami comes in at a dismal 1-9 but has shown marked improvement in their last 3 games. Bowling Green has won 3 of their last 4, and needs 2 more wins to become bowl eligible. Good luck tomorrow, but of course I hope the Red & White come out on top!

Looks like putting Ada's Zac Dysert in at QB has really helped their offense but they still give up a lot of points and give up more QB sacks than any team in the country.

We need to get some pressure on Dysert...I feel a lot better about this game with Mahone back there at safety. The last few games at Miami have been blow outs in both directions but I think this one will be a bit closer.

I hope the Falcons can pull this game off. This team has nothing to lose and would like nothing more than to at least win 2 games this season. We gotta bring our A game into this contest. If we do that we will win for sure, but only if we do that.
