Kudos to coaching staff

One thing I'm noticing about the current regime is the ability to make adjustments at halftime. I like to see the Falcons being a strong team in the second half. Something they surely weren't last year.

Troy: BG trailed 14-7 at halftime, went on to dominate the second half.
Kent: trailed by 11 at the start of the 4th quarter. Falcons win.
Buffalo: Trailed by 13 at the start of the 4th quarter. Falcons win.
Miami: tied at the half and lucky to be. Totally outplayed in the first half. Second half domination.

I would have liked to see them put Missouri away, but I guess you can't win them all. The Falcons have won four of their last five and I like their chances to finish out the year on a four-game win streak.

I was just talking with my dad about this. It seems to me that Clawson is using the first half to try and 'tinker' with the offense, so long as the game is close. That period during the second quarter where we were trying to run the offense in hyper-speed was ridiculous, but I can very easily see what Clawson was trying to accomplish. But, in the second half, the play calling and personnel selection is outstanding. The way the defense especially has buckled down in the second half over the past few games is nothing short of outstanding. That is what is going to win this team a bunch of ballgames and get us to 7-5 and a bowl this year.

Another thing: THANK YOU for running the ball down their throats in the fourth quarter. How many consecutive runs were there? Was a pass even attempted on the final TD drive? Good coaching!
