Found the two articles in The Blade today very interesting since each coaching staff seems to be taking a very different approach to this game.

Beckman is pulling out all the rivalry gimmicks on this one. These guys would like nothing more than to wreck BG's season and exact some serious payback. I'll be honest; this game scares me. BG has everything to lose and TU has nothing to lose. I like the workman-like approach Clawson has brought to this team. I hope that strategy works against a team Friday that looks to be ready to chew nails. Who knows, maybe Clawson is doing the same thing as Beckman except more privately. Regardless of what's going on behind closed doors at BG, Beckman is not hiding the fact that they are motivated. Perhaps Clawson doesn't need any gimmicks- A Bowl berth should be all the motivation needed at this point. I'm hoping for a fast start, a bend but do not break performance from our defense and if needed the positive halftime adjustments that have been very impressive this year. A heavy dose of Sheehan to Barnes will of course be needed too.

I'll take it as a good sign that the line increased and now has us favored by 8 from BoDog.com which is up from 7 to start the week.
If our office pool is any indication, late season shows the Favorites winning. Not only winning outright but also covering.
BG 31
Toledo 20

There is no other way to finish a season other than yelling at the top of your lungs among BG's players holding the Peace Pipe aloft!

Re: Two different approaches to the BG/UT game
I think Coach Clawson has BG very focused and ready to play anyone. BG is playing it's best ball of the year and we're able to make adjustments.
UT can move the ball and score, no question. Beckman is doing anything and everything letting everyone know how UT is motivated.
Coach C is approaching the game seriously but with a level head. I like that approach. We know who the opponent is, what it means to beat them, what's on the line. Just go out and do it.
Freakling1 says BG wins 39-10. I'll be a bit more cautious. I see a close game. Falcons win 38-28.
