Bg Bowl Game

Could BG possibly play Clausen, Tate, Floyd, and the rest of the terrible Fighting Irish? That would be really sweet and just the icing on the cake for Charlie if we beat them.

Only in my dreams...man I would LOVE that matchup...although I doubt our D could contain their WRs...we'd have to score and score and score

I have seen BG, NIU, CMU and Ohio all mentioned possibly to play Notre Dame. The latest bowl predictions for Football-Bowl.com have BG in the New Mexico Bowl.

Realistically, I don't think ND would accept a bid involving the MAC. Their ego would prevent it.

Looking at some of the updated projections, 3 of them have us playing Idaho in the Humanitarian Bowl, 2 have us playing Marshall in the EagleBank Bowl, and one has us in the New Mexico Bowl against Fresno State.

I don't understand the projections of us playing Marshall again in the Eagle Bank Bowl, while Northern Illinois goes to Humanatarian Bowl and plays Idaho. Don't you think the bowl committees want to avoid a repeat match-up from the regular season between two teams at all costs?

why wouldn't ND play a MAC team? Hell - they schedule Western Michigan next year if I am not mistaken.

Would love to see Golden Boy Tate and Freddie B. in the same game!

It's one thing for them to schedule a MAC team in the regular season, it's another to be so crappy they play them in a bowl game.

I'd be surprised if ND passes on any bowl game. They owe it to their players to give them another game, regardless of their coaching situation.

Seeing BG in any bowl is a sweet feeling. This team regrouped down the stretch and won 6 of the last 7...
