Alvarado now suspended

Well crap. No timetable on the suspension. Next court date next Wednesday.

Its good has taken the hard step of suspending him, but I have to say it seems like he is laying the ground work for the ever popular and guaranteed 2nd Chance, we will see.

Innocent until proven guilty.

The "innocent until proven guilty" is appropriate for a court of law and determining the effect on an inviduals freedom and rights. Playing Div I college football is a privlege....not a right. Don't extrapolate the same burden of proof in a court of law to a coach's decision on taking away a player's privlege.

So you think a young man should have his privleges revoked based solely on an accusation? Duke lacrosse case?
