The game is pick 'em on some Vegas Boards

i'd guess that vegas considers this a "home" game for idaho, so a 1-point spread probably favors the falcons.

though moscow is about 330 miles from boise, there are a lot of vandal fans living in the treasure valley.

330 is about the drive from BG to Athens. I can see a lot traveling if this is their first bowl since 1998, and if they do live in the area it wouldn't be that hard to make. I will be curious about the BSU fan turn-out and who they will root for. I wish I could make it to that game.

What route are you taking? It is nowhere close to 330 miles. Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are not even 330 miles apart.

I think most BSU fans will be wearing Orange for the game. Most of us would not be caught dead cheering for the red headed step children to the north.

Actually, the sign immediately south of Moscow (rhymes with show not cow, by the way) says Boise-299.

I remember living in boise in the late 80's early 90's and there really is that hatred between bsu and idaho. Of course this was at the time when Idaho had won like 4 in a row and bsu was still 1-AA. Music to my ears! Glad to see our fight song made such an impression. Don't worry about the home crowd rooting for the Vandulls, the stadium will be orange and vocally against dui. That's funny because every Vandal I know is going to the game. This will be a homefield advantage for the Vandals.

You are playing Texas Christian University in the Fiesta Bowl. TCU is a school from the Mountain West Conference. The University of Idaho is playing Bowling Green State University from Ohio in the Humanitarian Bowl. BGSU is a school from the MAC conference.


With this in mind, if any of you BSU fans would like to discuss your school's superiority in football...and...well...um... just football. Please do so on your own message board. You can also post on the govandals.net message board in the "smack" forum. However, please remember football season is wrapping up and so you may want to temper your rhetoric before february rolls around (see Men's Basketball). Regardless, be sure to refrain from posting on the BGSU boards. These nice people really don't care about Idaho in-state smack, and it's really difficult not responding to your lunacy.

Speak for yourself. Boise fans are always welcome here. I've enjoyed their fans' posts more than any other school we've played, and that's after they kicked the crap out of us twice.
