I wondered if he'd be in the mix when they announced an "open tryout."

Next Sunday? Dallas at Washington. I hope he kicks a 60 yarder for the win....and I hate the Cowboys.

After seeing Folk miss the kick in the Dallas/NO game and then seeing the montage of all of the misses from warm-ups through the end of the game, I said to myself, "I bet they pick up Suisham."

Hopefully he proves the 'Skins wrong.

It would be nice to see Suisham make the game winning FG for Dallas and show the Redskins what they let go. Washington was dumb for letting him go anyway. Suisham has an awesome leg!! Isn't this Suisham's second go round with the Cowboys?

BTW... I hate the Cowboys too, but as long as they have Suisham there good in my book.
But if they let him go....... :finga: :axe:

Actually, I think it is his third. Correct me if I'm wrong (and I probably am and someone certainly will  ), but I think he played for the Cowboys late in one season, then they brought in the idiot kicker Vanderjagt so Suisham was cut. Then Vanderjegt got hurt and sucked, so they brought Suisham back in the middle of the season. Then he moved on to the Redskins. Now back to the Cowboys.

Nice deal for Sean because he will probably gets a shot to kick in the playoffs.

I didn't watch the game last night, but I saw the box score and the Redskins first extra point was missed. Nice going Dan... The Redskins have a lot of issues and SS was the least of them. Yeah he missed a chip shot, but he isn't the only one. Mason Crosby missed one on Sunday that would have been the difference against the Steelers.

I agree with TG, I hate the Cowboys but would love to see SS kick the game winner as well as 4 other FG that game against boy billionaire.

Yeah, I got a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside last night watching the new and "improved" Redskin kicker clang an extra point off the left upright!

Who cares what team he plays for. He's making better money than most people.

And then there is......

Mruczkowski injured his ankle on the winning drive Sunday afternoon. He had to be helped off and had an MRI today.

Mruczkowski placed on IR today per ProFootballTalk.com:

"Chargers center Nick Hardwick suffered an ankle injury in Week One. He hasn't played since.
Scott Mruczkowski slid over from guard to handle the duties. He's done so well that the Chargers have been reluctant to rush Hardwick back.

But now they've got no choice.

Mruczkowski suffered an ankle injury on the game-winning drive against the Bengals on Sunday, and he has been placed on injured reserve.

The Chargers have replaced Mruczkowski with veteran center Eric Ghiaciuc, who was cut by the Chiefs after training camp.

Ghiaciuc spent four seasons with the Bengals, starting all 16 games in 2008."

For the Chargers sake, Hardwick better be ready, Ghiaciuc maybe one of the worst centers I have seen play.

Have you seen Mr. Suisham's wife? I don't think the Cowboys cheerleaders are really needed when you look at what he comes home to.
