Favorite Local Bar to Watch Falcon Football?

Post by dstubb »

I think I've asked this before - but where in BG do you guys like to go to watch BG football in town? I think I'm going to come into town to catch the bowl game and be around other Falcons. What do you recommend for good food, good tv's, etc? Thanks!

The Perrysburg BW3 is probably more accomodating than any of the BG bars, but since we are not going up against all of the :butthead: OSU fans this time they may be more likely to have the BG game on, and if we are lucky, maybe even the sound!

That's the place people recommended last time - I think I'll check it out, thanks!

Actually I like Fricker's a lot - the service is good everytime I go there and so is the food. That's usually where my wife and I "pregame" for home games. I just want to try a different venue.

No need to relate the story about the OSU fans...I'm aware that some of you had a bad experience there when the Buckeyes were on.

If I was in BG and not watching at home, I'd go to the Frick! Great place...I love it!

BGFan and I will be watching the game with Findlay Falcon and her son (a former Freddie), and hopefully, with another former Freddie. We will be on Sanibel Island watching the game!! :partyman: :drinkers: :supz: :smt041

GO FALCONS!!
BEAT THE VANDALS!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I've watched BG games from Sanibel, so jealous, it's been 7 months since we were there...the only place I could find games was the sports bar...can't think of the name.

We will probably go to Doc Ford's to watch the game. The Sanibel Grill is another good sports bar on the island. Biddle's Bucket also has a couple of screens.

Sanibel Grill was the one...with a good burger, Chris Berman burger?

I think they have sports memorabilia on the walls...I'll have to bring them one of my AZZZZ Ohio plates sometime and see if they will put it up.

My family and I will be at Buffalo Wild Wings in Oregon on Navarre Ave. for the game. We know the managers there so we can guarantee sound for the game, if anyone is in the Toledo area, feel free to swing on by!

Forget Fricker's. I'm still boycotting them. They favor OSU over BGSU way too much... ridiculous.

Last time I went there for a BGSU game, they had on OSU also. I ended up having to go to BW-3's and they had the BGSU game on the big screen with the sound up!
