Down to just myself...if at all.

Well, the latest is the Freak possibly going solo. Mrs. Freak doesn't want to make the drive and doesn't think the Freaklings would hold up under these driving conditions...She's right on both points.

Now the difficult part....breaking the news to the Freaklings that I would be the only one going...and I would need to team up with someone for the drive. The boys would be crushed if they couldn't go and I need to think about them first.

Mrs. Freak has always been more than understanding with my BG sports obsession and I think I might be going over the edge on this one. This is one time where I should make the sacrifice, stay home and watch it on TV. It will kill me not to be there.... :( :wah:

This has torn me apart going back and forth....I don't wanna see my boys upset cuz "dad got to go but not us!!!" BUT MAN DO I WANNA GO!! :x

Flip, WH, TG...we all need to get together and rock out a bowl win!

As it stands now, I'm sorry I won't be able to join the rest of you in Mobile. I'll hold out hope as long as I can but I might as well just accept the fact I won't be there.

Those of you going, SCREAM YOUR FREAKIN LUNGS OUT!!!

GO FALCONS!!! BEAT MEMPHIS!!!

You're a good Dad, Freak. I couldn't leave my son home...it would either be both of us or neither of us.

I'm leaving my dad at home :D The only way he could go with me would be to enroll at BG and join the band though!!

He clearly addressed me, Flipper and Warthog, Grant. I don't think you're invited. Jeez...

I had actually already started thinking of that. I'll be back in Ohio for the holiday that afternoon, and was in the process of contacting friends and BG alums in BG to get with for the game. I'm sure with students being out, we can get a pretty big group together somewhere downtown, and if we have a number ahead of time, my brother's in with a few bar owners that might be able to block off some tables (and he says he hates his job! heh.).

I've still got my eye on Mobile, but I really don't think its realistic. The next best thing is watching it in BG, so I'll vote for setting up a watch party there!

A moment of silence, please ...
:(

OK, Freak ... man, that's the first time I've been sad since I heard that BG was calling a press conference. But I have to say that I understand, because if Noah couldn't go, I'd be in front of the TV, too.

Still ... Me & Noah =

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
