Isn't it nice to see that two of the top three 'classic' bowls for the 2009-2010 season has MAC ties. Someone needs to tell Coward, AKA Cowherd, and the other BS conference apologists that there is more to college football than the BS conferences.

I didn't see every game, but it's hard to imagine a worse display of football by both teams than the Miss-Ok St. Cotton Bowl. That was terrible, just terrible.

And why would anyone want anything to do with Mr. Cowherd?

Completely agree! Good that the MAC does get some press there. What does it say about the BS BC$ when they ranked 10 bowls as "duds" and 12 bowls as "mediocre" - the stupid system doesn't work!

Just noticed this - we're ranked 1 in the classics (and overall out of all the bowls). I guess it was a tie for 2nd between GMAC and Outback. Still disappointing we didn't win, but at least we aren't in the "dud" category this time!

Would love to see Boise State in the title game...or TCU, Utah as well. These programs have proven they can play anyone in the country anytime...and win. With every starter but one (I think that's true) returning next year, BSU has to be in the top 5 to start the season. BSU regularly beats impressive BCS teams and deserves that opportunity. Next year they get Va Tech and Oregon State. They'll go after anyone and I love that attitude.

Here's a great story about the Fiesta Bowl and the great things BSU and TCU have done...and will do again next year. How about they play again next year for the title? They had a great game this year and the year before was even better....TCU won 17-16 in the Poinsettia Bowl. Can it happen or will the BCS find away to not let it happen?

Bowling Green and the rest of the MAC need to look at the game plan of the MWC and WAC and strive to get to that level.
