Kiffin is a tool. Becareful of what you wish for USC. With one probation looming, Kiffin will get you in trouble again.

Doubt it. It'll be mentioned, especially on message boards. But I doubt Mike Hamilton would want him right now. The sting of the Vols' 2008 season is still too fresh for them to be too eager to hire anyone back from that staff. And a good chunk of the fan base still hates Clawson with a passion anyway.

As for Kiffin, I liked him ok as a Vol fan myself. He could have stood to keep his mouth shut a few more times than he did, but otherwise, he was an energetic coach that did a lot to fire up a team and a fan base that was really down on itself. It's a shame to see Tennessee in the position of finding another new coach/staff just a year after they got a new one, but that is what it is I guess.

Has to be the pull of the LA media market. With no NFL team the USC head coach is the the top dog in Los Angeles.
