Bowling Green seeded eighth in this hypothetical playoff

Projectplayoffs.com has posted some postseason playoff brackets on its web site, and Bowling Green is seeded eighth playing UAB with the winner playing the winner of Baylor and Boise State. The web site has realigned all the conferences and divisions, and these teams are in the new Division 2. Just wondering what your take on this is. I'm sure you don't like being thrown in D2, but it's actually kind of an interesting plan.

I'd rather keep what we have and play in a bowl, end our season on a win.
Tournaments are for basketball and poker.

I have to confess that Nathan won me over last year when the same debate came up. A playoff would be bad for the MAC.

Interesting premise. Based only on attendance figure?

Can't say I like it.

But still interesting nonetheless.

Yeah, this idiotic plan has nothing to do with performance...and your 'reward' for being good is being given tougher competition....the year after you were good the first time.
it is only interesting in the matchups it creates.
I wonder - is Utah in D2???
Would they be D2 a year ago? a year from now???
projectplayoffs is worse than the BCS.

It is only fair that the fans are rewarded for supporting their school. The top 64 schools for the new Division 1 represent the colleges with the strongest followings. There is not a fairer method of selection.
gimme a break.
How can you even talk about equity to black colleges, etc. when all you do with this system is reward huge state schools with bandwagon fans.
